Strohmenger are fair quality British pianos. Pre 1910 uprights often overstrung with inlay. There are many pre 1930s upright straight strung under dampers. Baby and boudoir grands fair with good mellow tone. Most Strohmengers need a lot of reconditioning; hammers and action tend to wear quickly.
