Where to look

On an upright, look inside the top of the piano on the frame, soundboard or nearby labels. Record the full number and maker name exactly.

Use the result carefully

Do not confuse action, case or retailer numbers with the main factory serial. Condition and maintenance history matter more than age alone when assessing a Knight piano.

Serial-number reference

Find the nearest serial number in the table. If the number falls between two entries, the likely production date falls between those years.
