Fazer piano serial numbers
Fazer pianos were produced in Finland during the twentieth century. The archive sequence below can help estimate the age of a Fazer upright.
Where to look
Fazer serial numbers are commonly found on a plaque on the back of the piano. Move the instrument only if it can be done safely and without damaging floors or the cabinet.
Use the result carefully
Record the complete plaque and any model information. The table gives an approximate date and should be considered alongside construction and condition.

Find the nearest serial number in the table. If the number falls between two entries, the likely production date falls between those years.
